Had an opportunity to meet a forum member, Dan Retzinger of Anchorage, AK. He set me up to fish with J&J Smart Charters out of Ninilchik, AK for a two day halibut trip. We were successful and had a great time. Dan loaned us some fishing gear to fish a local deep creek for silver salmon. Great guy and I would recommend him and J&J Smart Charters to anyone. Their campground overlooks the Cook Inlet being based on the eastern shore. I look forward to returning again with my wife. BTW, next trip I will fly to AK and no more driving the long mileage.
