Simple as can be.

Get a big pot and boil them to your desired consistency. That's it. Some nuts take longer, over night even, while fresher nuts may be ready in a few hours. Salt isn't to tricky as it isn't difficult to add more and it doesn't take too long for the salt to be absorbed by the nut. Taste your water before you put the nuts in.

I've also had good ones out of a crock pot, if you don't want to fire up a big ol pot on a burner.

Hardest part of it out here in the PNW is getting raw peanuts.
