I have been told (repeatedly) that these are M2's but never believed it.
North 40 had them on sale and had one left yesterday. I started finger blasting it and said "This thing really is an M2!" The receiver being stamped 'Benelli Accokeek, MD' sealed the deal.
Now I have two of the best bird guns ever made.

Every Stoeger owner I've met says their gun is the same as a Benelli too.
But all jokes aside, there is a YouTube video where a guy pulls an Affinty and an M2 apart and compares them. The only major difference is that the M2's spring is in the stock and the Affinity's is in the forearm.
I think I'll pick one up for a backup.
