I have had Mt. Goats spooked by Black Bears but not as yet by Grizzlies!
I am glad it all worked out for you.
My Hunting partner last year had to "spray gravel" on an unafraid Grizzly to keep it off of his in the process of being boned out Mt. Goat (near Livingston)!
