Here is a sporterized Lee Enfield rifle in .303 Brit. I don't know much about the history of the rifle as I received it in trade. I do know that it shoots well - I have brass and dies and bullets that can go with it. I've only ever used the battle sights to shoot 8" steel plates out to 200 yds and it will do that easily. It's a hoot to shoot - very smooth operating bolt and the magazine functions flawlessly. Metal has zero rust or pitting on it. I don't know if it's a re-blue job or if it has simply been that well maintained. Barrel looks to be original and bore looks good to the naked eye and doesn't foul badly. I've put several hundred rounds through it, but I have no need of the gun and want other things. I'll send this to you for $200 shipped to an FFL, unless you're in the state of Iowa and then we'll figure out how to meet up somewhere. USPS money order, bank money order, or a personal check as long as I can wait for it to clear before shipping to your FFL. First "I'll take it", public or private, takes the gun. If you want to see other pictures, let me know exactly what you want to see and I'll take it for you and post here.

"Daddy, can you sometime maybe please go shoot a water buffalo so we can have that for supper? Please? And can I come along? Does it taste like deer?"
