OK, I've used this bad boy several times. I've actually somewhat abused it given its low cost and being called a "Survival" knife. Batoning, chopping wood, chopping deer pelvis, and a little dirt digging. I'm really impressed, this is a well made steel, holds an edge on pare with my other customs. No signs of chipping. The large Micarta handle stays grippy even when covered in blood. With an OAL of 11 inches and 5 1/2 cutting, edge, 0.200 thick, it is my largest knife.

For $84 you too can have one at your door. Google up Varms, they make lots of models. Shows them hand grinding but I wonder if this isn't a machine ground blade. I did attempt ordering one directly from Poland because I wanted different handle material but it didn't work out so I ordered off of eBay. [Linked Image]
