i hunt near them, but have not ever booked them. The last few years, their success rate has dwindled.Mostly because all the elk in the area drift off public land to the private land along Ohio Creek North of Gunnison.I think they took about 4-5 bulls this year out of 2-3rop camps and their main camp of 10 hunters for both 1st and 2nd season.I saw zero elk in 9 days except the several hundred head on the private ranches.

I get along with Fred Stinson( owner) as I have hunted there for years and I camp at the trail head that he works out of.I have made it a point to let him know I don't hunt near his drop camps or where he hunts with his main camp hunters. Other DIYer's have had less than courteous interactions with them.

A few years ago, some drop Camp clients complained that they would not pack their elk out unless they back packed the elk down to the camp. This year I talked to two guys that were in one of the drop camps. The wrangler did not bring enough horses in so the hunters had to walk back out while the horses were use to pack the elk out.I have heard, but can't prove that there are more unsatisfied clients than not.

Personally I would pick to go else where. Not so much because of the outfitter, but because of the lack of elk. No elk this year, but I killed two bulls the previous two years and a cow before that, but they all came hard.
I would suggest J bar H outfitters out of Meeker CO,I think she might be all booked up for 2017 already.Would not hurt to check though. They did real well this past season. I hunt ML near them.

If God wanted you to walk and carry things on your back, He would not have invented stirrups and pack saddles
