I really like the transition model 70 just based on some of their quirky features. And while they are more scarce, simply based on the limited years of production, they don't generally fetch a different price than a "post-war" model 70 (all other things being equal). I believe the scarcity of the transition rifles is offset by the fact some people don't like them, meaning the demand isn't quite the same as for rifles that don't have the transition features.
