Can buy a LH 06 SS cheap, would love a 6.5 - 06 in a RAR LH. Any one rebarreled one? Any take off barrels have same thread?

ALL Ruger bolt actions have the same thread spec. So skip on over to Pacific Tool & Gauge for a real(not smooth) barrel nut, then grab a barrel. Blackhole weaponry builds Drop-in barrels for the RPR and thus the American/M77. Will cost your about $325.
