I used the 300 gr. version in my 44 mag for a couple of seasons. They always worked as advertised for me. The most dramatic was a big doe that I hit with a quartering shot in the left shoulder. The bullet broke the shoulder, traversed the chest and abdomen, and lodged under the skin of the offside hip. The recovered bullet was a picture perfect mushroom.
