I took a buddy out deer hunting this weekend who'd never been hunting before. We went to the Flint Hills of Kansas and he scored on a nice 8 point!
He was amazed at the walking involved- I'm a glass and stalker.
We glassed this one up in a creek bottom, got to within 20 yards and he shot it with my Kimber Montana .308 in it's bed.
We got checked by a couple Game wardens when we got out to the road and they asked if they could take pics and post it on their Facebook page.
