All:

I have a 99EG that has a much darker buttstock than forearm. The gun is around 95% so I believe they are original. Though the years I have seen a number of guns like this. What I noticed is that they are all 50s guns. Also, all the ones I have seen are EGs. Has anyone else noticed this?

I am thinking of buying this one. The current owner who owns a number of 99s says that the gun looks correct to him despite the mismatch in color. What does the crowd say?
