Mohammad copied quite a bit of the Koran verbatum from the Bible. I don't know if this was part of it, but he did copy a lot about Moses.
Yes, the Moslems believe some bastardized version of the OT and honor Jesus as a prophet. So, it's not surprising for Moslem poetry to address both Moses and Jesus.
One theory is that Islam is a Christian heresy. Maybe. Maybe not. But for sure totally Satanic.
