Yeah it does, sadly at times.
Literally -- I have a <real> jack mountain within sight of my place. I'll have NO problem remembering....
As a kid my Grandpa told me of a man, I think he said a prospector, who basically lived on the mountain, with a Jackass. He didn't show up for an extended period of time. Someone found him, dead, kicked in the head by the Jack, hence jack mountain.
I was told that story by several adults when I was a kid. A true story AFAIK (as far as I know).
