S-L-O-W-L-Y building my own .308 on Aero upper and lower. May finish it sometime this year. Weight is a concern but I doubt I'll ever be able to keep the weight low enough that it will be much of a prolonged-carry rifle. My Ruger .308 Scout with the synthetic stock supposedly comes in at 6.25 pounds sans scope and fills that bill.

Barrel and handguard options are welcome.
