Going to put together another 6.8 hunting rig with a 20" bbl. Nothing fancy, no BUIS or fancy HG needed, it's sole purpose will be hunting and it'll have a light weight scope in an Aero mount. My current hunting 6.8 has an octagon ultraslim HG with some BCM low pro grip panels and a YHM flush cup mount. I added the BCM panels due to the aluminum being so cold on the hands and it worked reasonably well for that, but thought about CF on this rig and don't really need anything but a sling mount on the HG.

Have any of you tried the Clark Custom HGs? They are located between my house and work, so I may stop in and see if I can handle one in person. I see that they are no longer glue on only, they now have a clamp on mount. That will definitely be a positive if I need an adjustable block.

Trying to keep it lightish, so probably an ACE stock and no MD. Nothing tacticool needed.

Thanks,

loder
