I've seen a lot of criticism of Konus spotters here but I have one I use for the range and it has performed very well. I've had no issues spotting bullet holes in paper at 500 yards. I haven't shot paper farther than that. Either I lucked into a good one or the critics haven't tried one. It is not perfect. It definitely has some CA issues. It doesn't jump out at me while looking through it but snapping a pic through the scope makes it very apparent. I still dream of a Swarovski but the big Konus has been perfectly adequate for me for range use.
