Got away for the weekend and saw some action with the Whelen.
He was chasing a doe across a narrow field. Had just enough time to whistle and shoot when he stopped. Not a huge buck but he'll eat good. The 250gr Partition way over-penetrated.
Nice! Can't wait to bloody my 1S .35 Whelen next year.
