Statistics showed a VERY different game than the most important statistic (the scoreboard). At halftime we pulled up the stats and it showed a VERY different game. At the half Pats dominated every statistical category other than score, turnovers, rush yards. Aikman and Buck didn't get it. The 5 giggling analyst panel clowns didn't get it, but there was an undercurrent in the 1st half that many did not notice.
Aikman and Buck were discussing the Atlanta offense's unusually low number of offensive plays as early as the second quarter and mentioned it on several other occasions.
