Spring fever is hitting and I'm thinning the herd to free up funds for Jeep parts, so a few things are going on the chopping block over the next couple weeks.

First up is a solid rifle that is basically a factory duplicate of an LRI build that's my main hunting rifle. This is a 700 SS 5R that I bought lightly used a couple years ago. It had not been shot much at all. I had the barrel professionally cut back from 24" to 22" with a deep crown and all the metal beadblasted to a dull finish. I swapped out the new-style trigger for an old-style SS unit that is resprung and tuned to a creep-free 2.2lbs. I also swapped the palm-swell factory handle for a new Mag-Pul handle with DBM. I'm a big fan of these stocks and have them on other rifles as well. I did not bed the alloy chassis. The rifle is in very good shape overall. $825 $795 shipped/insured USPS priority.

I put about 100 rounds through the rifle since buying it, shooting mainly some 168NBT/Varget loads I had worked up for a previous rifle and then switching to a 155 Scenar/RL15 load I put together, simply trying to make 2,850fps. 3/4MOA was no problem and I really did not spend much time shooting paper with either load. I also have the additional Mag-Pul stock spacers and the floorplate adapter that will allow use of factory BDL metal instead of the DBM setup. Low-profile Burris picatinny bases are included.
