Tripod for open, ladder stand for tree. Ive been using a ladder stand with a cover on it for the past 5-6 yrs and it works great. I just replaced it last year because the original was rusted so bad it was becoming unsafe. I'm 80 and hunt in SE Texas in wooded area. A large selection of stands at Midway.
