For sale or trade is a custom Remington 700 BDL chambered in .30-06 built by Mission Specific Worldwide out of Atkinson, WI. The action has been fully blueprinted to the centerline of the receiver, the recoil lug has been replaced with one that is precision ground, and the bolt lugs and face have been recut and lapped for proper contact. Trigger is a Timney Model 517 set to 3.5#. Action is professionally glass bedded into a McMillan hunter stock, painted OD, standard fill, with front and rear sling studs. Barrel is a Muller Works, and is 1-10" right hand twist, 5R cut rifled, and double lapped. Barrel is a standard Remington magnum sporter profile. Rifle carries a 1/2 MOA guarantee from the original manufacturer.

The description above is from when I purchased the rifle. I saw sub-MOA groups, but no 1/2 MOA groups, but could be user error. I had the barrel cut to 20" and threaded 5/8-24. It has an adapter to give it the shoulder necessary for a suppressor and comes with the thread protector shown.

I picked this up last year to take to Alaska as a backup rifle. I don't have a lot of use for it here in South/Central Texas, so it's on the chopping block. It had some minor speckling (no actual rust) that was a direct result from 5 days in SE Alaska. I hit it with some 400 grit sandpaper to clean it up and wiped it down with RemOil. It's a little shinier now, but you could have it bead blasted to get back that matte finish.

Please ask any questions before purchase. I'm asking a very fair $1050 shipped and insured from me to your FFL with the stainless Talleys. I also have a pair of 1" blued Talleys that I would swap out for the 30mm rings if you prefer those. I will also sell it for $950 shipped with a set of Talley LW one piece 1" rings in place of the SS Talleys. Shipping will be extra if it has to go FFL to FFL. Scope is NOT included.

As for trades, feel free to hit me up. I need a scope or two--Bushnell LRHS, Nightforce, etc. I'll add cash if need be. I'm also looking for an older 70s-ish Colt LW Commander in 45ACP. Maybe a Kimber 84. Those are the things I "need", but I'm open to other trades.
