Part of my pause is that I have a 243 already....Ruger Mark II in stainless laminate (sporter).

I've can do .5 - .75 MOA with 75 gr VMAX, 87 gr VMAX and 80 gr NBT. Longest kill for groundhogs is 435 yds.

Never owned a Winchester. Asking price is $700 obo. I'm intrigued but not sold.
Probably about the same in accuracy more or less.

Owning more of one rifle chambered in the same cartridge should not stop you. wink
