I have a pre-war 99R that needs to go down the road. It was one of my first acquisitions but there are other things that need attending and someone else certainly could benefit from it better than I at this time. The rifle is in very good condition but has two items that need explaning. There is a slight crack in the stock behind the tang that I epoxied years ago and frankly is not very visible. It also has lever droop which the fix has been discussed many times on this forum. The bluing is still very strong and the checkering very crisp. Other than the items mentioned above it is an excellent example of a 99R that was made in 1933. Given the items l mentioned I'd let it go for $800.00 plus shipping. If interested and/or want to talk "turkey" send me a PM and I'll send you pictures and find an FFL for the transfer. Many thanks - Jeff

It's chambered in .300.
