Mitch Seavey is scorching the the competition in this year's Iditarod! He is averaging about 10MPH and seems very confident in his eminent victory. Let's hope there's not another freak incident like 2011...

“I guess it’s the diplomatic thing to say that anything can happen, but I’m pretty excited because I think I’m on my way to winning and I’m not ashamed to say it,” he said.
Those are words you don’t hear from someone who isn’t sure. It’s simple — Seavey believes it’s his race to win.
