In Europe driven hunts are very common. Europeans like this kind of hunt because is very challenging and very exciting.
We do driven with beaters and dogs ....and depending on the terrain between 5 to 15 hunters.
The beaters and the dogs try to push the boars to the line of hunters that are waiting The standing hunters are usually approximately 50 to 100 yards apart.
In my area we do 3-6 drives/day....again depending on the terrain- we have 30000 ha aprox 70000 acres from plains to mountains .
We also do high seat stand hunts where we wait for the wild boars in the evening to come to feeding areas.
