Get the stock that fits your face, and forget about whether it "looks good." ...
+2 on the "fits you" aspect. Personally I prefer the Hunters Edge better because of the thinner, more open, grip and the thinner fore arm. I put one on a Pre-64 .270 FWT that comes in right around 7 lbs with a Lyman 48 aperture sight and Montana sling with swivels.
