I got pretty decent accuracy and velocity with it in the .223 Remington years ago, when it was called 2015-BR. The current version doesn't seem quite as accurate (no pun intended), and I note they have also reduced the loads on their website compared to the old powder. With the old powder, I was using 25.0 gr with a 50 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip for around 3400 fps out of a 24" Savage 1 in 12" twist. Their current load data indicates a full grain less for a maximum. I have pretty much gone over to Ramshot TAC in the .223, better metering in a powder measure, cleaner burning less copper fouling, very good accuracy and velocity in bullets from 40 to 69 gr. I would think that current 2015 would give decent results. Using Lyman No. 49 data, I was able to push the 40gr V-Max bullet 3800 fps out of a 26" Remington SPS Varmint barrel with the current powder. (Lyman's listed load was 1.6 gr over Western Powder's listed max for that bullet, but seemed okay in the Remington 1 in 12" twist.)
