The Cowboy has a 26" barrel, so the above loads were higher than the many 22" barrelled versions I have used in the past.

I do recommend you use the Remington bullets if you can find them as they are tougher than the paper thin jackets on the Speer version, which is more suited to the original factory specs than hand loaded potential for the cartridge.
