What type of oil, recipe for breading, and puppies?
I used Zatarains Crispy Southern Fish Fry breading. LouAna Peanut oil. One of the retired agents, a lady, brings the hushpuppy batter. It's her Mom's recipe, and she wont share. Darn it.
I cook the catfish at 350F, and the hushpuppies at 365. I use a digital thermometer to monitor the heat.
