Picked up a Savage Axis today in .223, couldn't pass on it for the price. Rifle was in like new condition (doubt it has been fired), and came with a cheap Tasco scope. Feel isn't too bad, but the trigger is absolutely terrible...as bad as any I have ever felt on a Savage (or any other bolt gun).
How well do these rifles typically shoot? Any other glaring issues with the guns?
