I'm always happy to hear that our city treats visitors well because I remember the older Seattle. I'm starting to sound like my grandpa when I prefer the old to the new. Less people, less traffic, better fishing. I haven't done any crabbing this summer with everything I've got going on but when it opens this winter I'll hit it hard. There's much less pressure during the winter season and it's open 7 days a week so I just keep my pots out and collect and rebait every day or 2.

I've only been here ten years and Seattle isn't what it was in '07 when I moved out here. Even a coworker who came up from CA (the good kind of CA import) says it's changed in the 2 years since he moved out here.

But the surrounding areas are excellent.
