I have used a LOT of R17 in my 6.5-284s. I am only getting about 500 rounds out of a barrel with it. Won't try it in my new 6x47. Yipes! Is it getting quite hot? Just wondering. 500 rounds is quite a bit of shooting,but that sounds like pretty short barrel life.
