For some strange reason I have an affinity for the less popular calibers. I have had 3 6mm Remingtons and currently have a Remington 700 CDL. To me t and the 257 Roberts are the ideal calibers for Texas hunting. The 6mm for everything up to and including deer and the Roberts for larger exotics. Both are a hoot to shoot. Porsche73
