I load and shoot Hornady's 155gr A-Max for long range silhouette and have a load using Speer's 165gr BTSP but haven't tried any of those yet. In theory the 155 should carry enough energy to knock over a ram....now all I have to do is hit one that isn't a swinging practice target to find out! Rifle is an Interarms Mark X that could be loaded to higher pressure than a 99 but I haven't done that yet.
