The 25-06 holds it's own with the 6.5 Creedmoor and the 270 Winchester until further out than most people should be shooting. It is also right in there with the 6mms within normal ranges. One of my guide friends recommends this as a minimum caliber for his clients for Audad and other tougher or larger exotics.
