Have a 1899H c. 1911 takedown, in 30-30 with a schnobel forend and tang sight. Hard rubber butt plate. Has a 20" light weight barrel. Put it on the postal scale and it came in at 6.7 pounds. A '94 Winchester carbine, in comparison, feels like a club.
