I don't remember the charge I settled on but my oldest daughter cut her teeth on M7 .243 with 90 grain bullets with a decent charge of Blue Dot (thanks to Seafire). They were accurate, consistent in velocity, and very soft shooting to the shoulder. It made her shooting a pleasant experience and I just switch to full power loads for hunting and she never really noticed in the heat of the moment. I am glad the thread got bumped and I highly recommend and appreciate Seafire's data. I hope others can follow the lead with new shooters so as to help to avoid recoil induced flinching and promote marksmanship and confidence.
