On your original question: I use a Leuopold vx II 3-9 with parallax reset to 50 yards.
But I hope you and Circles will start a squirrel dog thread and post some pics. Every once in a while I think about finding up a squirrel cur or a feist....
Be careful with that. You get a good squirrel dog and all your deer hunting buddies will wonder what happened to you. And your freezer fills up with squirrel.
