An excellent book. I had the pleasure/honor of doing an initial review for The Wildlife Society publication awards. We selected this book as a winner. It is technical but very readable. Lowell Halls (the compiler and editor) advised me on aspects of my Masters work and he was a common sense biologist I was fortunate enough to have known and worked with. Well worth the money and time to read if you are interested in White-tail.
