Found this guy Friday afternoon. Much the same story as last year, just got into my spot - saw an elk - closed the gap and whacked him. 3 hours of hunting! 5 hours total for 2 bulls in the last 2 years! About 3 times that hauling that suckers out, but I'm getting over it and will be ready for next year. I have got to get my brothers to go next time packing these suckers out solo is too much work.
