And yes, IMR 7977 was quite stable in a 270 with 160g NPt’s when I tested it almost 3 years ago. And that combo is very accurate in a pair of 270’s I loaded for.

I don’t shoot and hunt a lot with the 160’s, but have enough 7977 to keep me going for a number of years. Then I guess it will be back to good ‘ol H4831– which I have a ton of…..

Just wonder why they canned 7977, a temp stable 7828ssc would be a great consolation prize.
