I wanted a straight wall cartridge for the states that allow them instead of slug guns, but I hate the plastic clip guns that are out there now, I have a Ruger American set up to shoot suppressed subsonic, gun is deadly accurate but dropped the clip on the floor and the clip goes in 4 pieces and I have a single shot, all the guns I seen had the plastic clip syndrome or at least that what I thought, when I seen they would rebore, I was all over a real rifle. I have the a weatherby same vintage in 300 win mag. and it has never let me down, so it was simple plus the price was really right for the donor gun LOL

Does it feed well from the factory mag box? Did you have to modify the feed rails? I have 2 NIB 700 all 223s I bought from Walmart on clearance a few years back. I'll probably do a short threaded 7 twist 223 remage on one but I've thought about sending the other in for a reborn to 350. It would be a good one to shoot the 200g cast Lee flat nose bullets from.
