I had a problem with my gas powered Ryobi chainsaw. The fuel intake started floating up to the top of the tank. Shoved it back to the bottom of the tank with a stick and it's worked like a champ ever since. Well, maybe like a champ that is seriously lacking in horse power because it is way too lean.
