That’s a neat setup. I’ve had a dozen or so Handi Rifles. I wish I had kept them but I have the “sell this one to make room for and buy another one” syndrome 🙄.
I have a Henry single shot now in 357 Magnum with a beautiful piece of walnut that is trying to “fill the void” left by the Handi rifles, however seeing your 44 mag rig makes me want to look for another Handi hiding in a used gun rack somewhere.
By the way, I would like to see a picture of the muzzle on that 44 mag “Sporter” contour barrel if you get a chance, seems like it would appear to be a large bore for a .429” bore. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one unless it’s the same barrel contour used on their 45/70’s (?). Thanks for giving me another rifle to look for.
