What are the do's and don'ts on a NIB unfired collector gun.
Do you at least clean the fouling from the factory fired rounds in the bore and lightly lube or leave the dirty bore alone as it left the factory?
Do you wipe any oil on the wood stocks?
Do you install the bolt action and scope rings and take tags and stickers from the factory off the rifle?
Leave the gun in the box it came from the factory in for storage?
I have been seeing guns that were put up NIB and never cleaned and rusted bad over time.
What would you recommend to maintain a NIB collector gun?
