I have the original p365 and also the x macro . I appendix carry both of them in Vedder holster. The x macro does have a holosun red dot on top. It does carry a little larger due to the mag length, but It is not very noticeable unless I am carrying for church with shirt tucked in over it. The flat trigger of the macro is better than the curved original, but both of them are crazy accurate for their small size, but the edge goes to the macro still. I usually have the 12round magazine with pinky extension on the original so not much shorter. I also feel a little better with the extra couple rounds that the macro affords me. YMMV
