Cool place, if I were you Id go nuts with a chainsaw and cut out about 70% of the trees 100 yards in every direction, assuming you have a good chunk of land. The remaining trees will grow larger and nicer without the competition, and it will look better overall in 10 years or so. Just leave the nicest/healthiest trees and burn the rest for firewood or whatever.
