...Since the rifle in question is only an hour away, I drove down to Katy and stopped in at Bass Pro to have a first- hand look at the rifle. Except for wear at the muzzle, the o/a metal is very good. The stock is what it is...dead. The weight of the rifle seemed to be on the "heavy side" for a Featherweight, maybe weight in the butt ??. IMO, the price is a bit much, even with the scope. And, NO they would not haggle.
The problem is they've probably a lot of people looking at it due to chirping on the internet about it. Fuggers.
