I have 2 7.62x39 that I have built with Lilja 308 barrels. They will out shoot a 308 for accuracy at 100 yards. As soon as I can I am going to build a 7.62x39 rifle with a 308 bore as a hunting rifle. Probably a 18 inch barrel, light , with a 1.5x6 scope.
